Telecom solutions

Without connectivity the company stops entirely, so what matters here is predictability rather than price. We choose the providers and build in headroom so an outage at one does not become a day off for the whole office.

What the work includes

Connectivity is built as one whole: the access lines, the telephony and the failover procedure between them.

Discuss the scope

Choosing the providers

By who is actually connected to the building, the real quality and the contract terms.

The backup link

A second line from a different company with automatic failover on a break.

Telephony

A virtual exchange, short internal numbers, call forwarding, a voice greeting.

Numbers

We arrange landline and shared numbers, and port existing ones when the provider changes.

Recording

The conversations go into an archive, and access to it is limited in line with personal data requirements.

Integration with the CRM

An incoming call opens the customer record and the history stays in the system.

How it goes

The provider takes two to four weeks to run the line. The telephony is configured within a few days.

Testing

We simulate a break in the main link and run through every scenario.

The backup link should come from a different company and preferably use a different technology. Two lines from the same provider enter the building on one cable, and damage to it kills both at once. Pairing fibre with a mobile link looks unsophisticated but works more reliably than anything else.

Questions and answers

Usually yes, though the process is not quick: it takes from two weeks to six weeks and both providers are involved. When the number is on business cards and in advertising, the process has to be started well in advance.

Useful for settling disputes and training salespeople. But the recordings contain personal data: callers have to be warned at the start and access to the archive must be limited. We set up both the technical side and the paperwork.

As a rule considerably less than the main one, because the backup line is deliberately narrow: its job is to keep the company afloat, not to be comfortable. An unlimited mobile plan costs a modest sum and covers most situations.

We will sort out your connectivity

Describe the office, the headcount and how connectivity is arranged now. We will choose links with headroom and set up the telephony.
