Connecting delivery services

Delivery loses more customers than people assume. An unexpected figure at the last step, or a promise to confirm the price by phone, and the person closes the tab. Calculating it in the basket removes that reason to abandon the order.

What the work includes

We connect several carriers at once: the customer gets a choice and you stop depending on a single partner.

Discuss the scope

Calculation

By weight, dimensions and destination, without deferring it to the order confirmation stage.

Pickup points

A map of the points, filtering by convenience, opening hours.

Courier delivery

The price is calculated from the address, and if the carrier supports it the customer also picks a convenient time slot.

Passing orders on

The order goes to the carrier automatically, with nothing typed into their console by hand.

Tracking

The numbers come back to the site and are emailed to the customer.

Statuses

They show in the customer's account and cut the flow of calls asking where the parcel is.

How it goes

One carrier takes two or three days, and most of that goes on fitting the tariffs and rules to your product range.

01

Selection

We look at the geography, the tariffs and whether there are pickup points in the cities you need.

02

Checkout

We sign the contracts and collect the keys to connect to their systems.

03

Configuration

Product weights and dimensions, packing rules, delivery zones and mark-ups.

04

Testing

We send several parcels for real and follow them by tracking number from start to finish.

Without weights and dimensions filled in, the calculation is fiction. The carrier substitutes defaults, the customer sees a figure with no bearing on reality and you pay the difference out of your own pocket. Filling in the dimensions is done before the integration.

Questions and answers

Usually two or three: one with a wide network of pickup points, one courier and Kazpost for remote settlements. A wider choice only confuses the buyer.

Technically yes, and many build packaging and order handling into it. The important thing is not to overdo it: customers compare the figure with the carrier's own rates and read a noticeable mark-up as dishonesty.

With a rule: above a threshold the cost drops to zero or is partly absorbed by the seller. The threshold is calculated from the average order value and the margin, otherwise free delivery eats the profit entirely.

We will connect the carriers

Tell us what you ship and where. We will choose the carriers and set up price calculation in the basket.
