Field engineering resources

The engineer works at your premises, with your systems and on your tasks. It differs from ordinary contracting in that you direct the work, while the staffing side stays with us: finding, training, covering and, if needed, replacing.

What the work includes

We cover everything to do with the person: recruiting, paperwork, cover, training. Setting the tasks remains yours.

Discuss the scope

Selection

We search against your technology stack; you run the final interview.

Schedule

Full time, a few days a week or shift work - whatever suits your processes.

Cover

For holidays and sickness the cover is someone already familiar with your site.

Regions

If you have several addresses, we cover the cities where we have a presence.

Quality

We monitor the standard of work and change the specialist if they cannot keep up.

Improvement

Training and certification for the engineer are paid by us, not by you.

How it goes

Selection takes two weeks and up, longer for rare skills, and we say so straight away.

01

Profile

We establish the tasks, the technologies and the level required. Often it turns out that the level needed is not the one people had in mind.

02

Screening

We present candidates; the final decision is yours.

03

Onboarding

Getting to know the infrastructure, granting access, going through the rules.

04

Running

We watch the quality, provide cover and replace the person if needed.

An on-site engineer has to be busy, otherwise the arrangement loses its point. A company of thirty workstations rarely provides a full day of work, and the person starts looking for something to do. In such cases it is more honest to take a specialist for two or three days a week and not pay for idle time.

Questions and answers

You do. That is exactly how the arrangement differs from a service contract, where you receive a result rather than a person. It suits companies that have their own IT lead, or at least a clear idea of what to give an engineer to do.

Handled just as with any employee: a non-disclosure agreement, personal accounts, rights strictly tied to tasks, action logging. We do not issue shared passwords as a matter of principle.

We will replace them, and no explanation is needed. Compatibility usually becomes clear in the first two or three weeks, which is why we agree a trial period.

We will find you an engineer

Describe the tasks, the technologies and the schedule you want. We will propose candidates; you run the interview yourself.
