Corporate training

The course is assembled for your tasks rather than taken off a shelf. A session on invented examples evaporates in a week, while working through your own files stays in the memory far longer.

What the work includes

We choose the format to fit: a one-off session after a new system goes live, or regular meetings over several months.

Discuss the scope

What people cannot do

We identify the real gaps. They almost never match what management assumes.

Assembling the course

The material is built for your tasks and the group's level rather than pulled from a folder of templates.

Sessions by department

A homogeneous group learns better than a mixed one: the people have similar tasks and a common language.

Working by shifts

For manufacturing and retail we run sessions at convenient hours without stopping the operation.

Practice

Everything is done in your systems and on your documents.

Wrap-up and guides

A small exercise at the end and a short crib sheet to come back to.

How it goes

One session runs about four hours. A programme for a department stretches over a couple of days, usually split into blocks.

01

We survey

We find out exactly where people stumble. We ask the staff themselves, not only the manager.

02

We build the course

We build the material around their own examples and show it to you for approval.

03

We teach

Groups by level, plenty of practice, questions handled as they arise.

04

We consolidate

We leave guides, set a short test and two weeks later answer whatever has accumulated.

Training has to happen straight after the system goes live, not a month later. In the first days people have both questions and the will to work things out. A month later they have invented workarounds, got used to them and do not want to relearn. By then it is not training but breaking established habits.

Questions and answers

Six to ten people. Fewer and the cost per head rises; more and the trainer physically cannot reach everyone during the practical work. A large workforce is split into cohorts and trained in turn.

Theory, certainly - there is barely any difference. Practice is harder: through a screen you cannot see that half the group has fallen behind and is too shy to say so. Practical blocks are better done in person or in very small groups.

We look at support requests on the topics of the course. If after a session on email the number of email-related tickets drops noticeably, it worked. We know of no other honest measure.

We will build a course for your people

Tell us which departments need training and what is not working for them. We will build the programme from your own working situations.
