We assess the level
A short conversation so we neither repeat the known nor skip over a gap.
All the content revolves around what the person actually does at work, including the tasks they are stuck on.

The list of topics is built from their real work and the equipment actually installed in the organisation.
At a comfortable pace, in person or remotely, on your own infrastructure.
Servers and networks, virtualisation, information security, backups.
You can write with a question about a current task without waiting for the next session.
Notes and diagrams of your own setup rather than generic slides.
Sessions from two hours, usually once or twice a week. The overall length adapts to the learner's pace.
We establish the current skills and the desired outcome. Sometimes it turns out that instead of a course all that is needed is working through one specific question once.
Topics and their order agreed with the learner.
A little explanation and straight into practice on the live infrastructure.
A test, a review of the remaining questions and an outline of what to learn next.
The densest result comes from working through a task the person is stuck on right now. We replace the training exercise with the real thing: we take what is not working for them and see it through together. That gives both a lesson and a closed task at once.
Above all the sole administrator in a company who has nobody to ask for advice. Also managers who need to understand the subject to make decisions, and anyone taking on an area new to them.
By the fact that it is your infrastructure being examined. A course tells you how things work in an ideal world. A one-to-one session explains why in your particular network nothing behaves by the book and what to do tomorrow morning.
It depends on the topic and the level. One area is usually covered in four to six sessions. We will not pad a course out for the sake of volume: if the task is solved in two meetings, there is no reason to continue.
Tell us who needs teaching and what. We will have a short conversation and propose a plan.
