Skimping on a headset is a false economy: it is the client, not the employee, who hears the quality. A cheap microphone carries the conversation at the next desk, the noise of the air conditioning and an echo. The impression of a company is formed partly by how it sounds on the phone.

Questions and answers

The panel dims noticeably by six or seven years, even though the screen formally works. People do not notice, because the change is gradual, but their eyes tire more. Put a new one beside it and the difference is obvious at once.

It is justified where a laptop arrives and leaves every day. It saves minutes on connecting and, more importantly, spares the laptop ports: they are not designed for a thousand connections.

Screen height, a laptop stand, decent lighting. It costs next to nothing yet affects how tired you are by evening more than the model of mouse.
