Online store

Behind every order stands a chain: stock, reservation, payment, receipt, dispatch. The storefront is the most visible part of it and far from the hardest. Get any link wrong and the customer pays for something that is not in the warehouse.

What the work includes

About half the work is not the site at all but joining it up with accounting, payments, delivery and the till.

Discuss the scope

Catalogue

Attributes, variants, filtering, search. How easily goods can be found depends on how well they are described.

Checkout

A short path to the button, purchase without compulsory registration.

Taking payments

Payment cards, payment through Kaspi, an invoice for companies, instalments where needed.

Delivery

Cost and time calculated by city, collection points, consignment numbers.

A link with the accounting system

Goods, prices and stock go to the site; orders and statuses come back into the database.

Checkout

A software till generates the receipt at the moment of payment and passes the data to the operator. You cannot trade without it.

How it goes

From eight weeks. The timeline is set not by the number of products but by the number of integrations and the state of the accounting database.

01

Analysis

The product matrix, warehouses, price types, how delivery works.

02

Design planning

The product page and the checkout are the two pages the revenue depends on.

03

Assembly and integrations

Site, integration, payment, delivery, till. The integration is debugged on a test environment.

04

A live check

We put real orders through, with payment and refund, before the shop opens to the public.

In Kazakhstan a buyer expects a familiar way to pay. A shop that accepts only a card by typing in the number loses a share of orders simply because it is inconvenient. Connecting the popular payment services is done during development, not after the first complaints.

Questions and answers

Yes, but a physical one is not required: a software till will do. It generates and sends the receipt with no device in the office at all, connects within days and costs little.

The codes must go into the receipt at the point of sale, otherwise the retirement in the Tanba system does not happen and the goods stay on your books. We test the till-to-records link on a real sale before opening.

You can; goods and orders will be kept in the site itself. That works up to a few hundred items. Beyond that, reconciling stock by hand becomes the main source of errors and returns.

We will launch an online store

Tell us about the goods, the warehouses and the accounting. We will compile the list of integrations and name a timeline.
