Process review
How the sale really goes, who makes the decision and what slows it down.
The stages describe how the sale runs at your company rather than how a textbook says it should. Otherwise managers move deals along for form's sake.
How the sale really goes, who makes the decision and what slows it down.
Stages with a clear condition for moving on, rather than «in progress» and «the client is thinking».
Forms, email, calls, messengers - everything reaches the system by itself.
Rules for assigning an owner so no enquiry hangs around belonging to nobody.
Tracking overdue tasks and deals that have not moved for a long time.
How many deals pass each stage, how long an average one takes to close, and which manager is working on what.
The work takes two to three weeks, including training the staff.
We talk to the managers and the head of department about how things actually work.
Stages, fields, permissions and automatic intake of enquiries from the channels.
On real deals and before go-live. Otherwise the system stands empty for the first week.
After a month we see what has not taken root and remove the excess.
The more mandatory fields there are, the less truth is in the system. A manager who has to fill fifteen boxes to save a deal starts typing dots and dashes. Three fields filled in honestly are worth more than fifteen filled in for the sake of it.
Usually five to seven. With fewer it is unclear where deals actually get stuck. With more, staff get lost among the stages and move them around at will. Every stage needs a condition for moving on that can be checked.
Find out what specifically is getting in their way. The reason is usually redundant fields, double entry, or the system giving nothing back. Orders work badly here; simplification works well.
For most companies it is enough. A specialised product is needed where a deal runs for years and has many stages, or where the industry imposes its own requirements. It is more sensible to start with what you have already paid for.
Describe how the sale runs and how many managers you have. We will build the stages around your actual process and connect every source of enquiries to the system.
Request received
It is already with a manager. You will get an answer within the working day, and urgent requests go to the duty engineer immediately.
There is no such city in the list. Check the spelling.
